Reef
Pyramide is a distinctive northern-coast reef site named after its pyramid-shaped coral formation rising from a sloping seabed. The structure stands out clearly against the surrounding terrain, creating a natural focal point for the dive.
With a depth range of 12–26 m, the site suits intermediate and advanced divers who enjoy layered reef contours, healthy coral growth and the chance to encounter larger marine life in clear, open water.

A Pyramid-Shaped Formation on a Sloping Reef
The defining feature of Pyramide is the triangular coral structure that rises from the reef like a submerged monument. Around it, the terrain blends coral bommies, rocky ridges and sandy channels, creating a varied landscape that invites exploration. The formation is visible from multiple angles, making it a strong visual anchor throughout the dive.
A Multi-Level Depth Profile
Ranging from 12 to 26 m, the site offers a natural multi-level dive. The upper section is bright and colourful, while the deeper contours become more atmospheric and open. The lower part of the slope requires good buoyancy control and situational awareness, making it best suited to divers with some experience at depth.
The reef continues well beyond 26 m into deeper water, but this extension is generally reserved for experienced divers and is not part of the standard recreational route.
Marine Life Around the Pyramid
The reef hosts a lively mix of tropical species, including snappers, wrasses, angelfish and small groupers. Rays often glide along the sandy patches, and the deeper ledges attract trevallies and occasional barracudas. The coral structure itself shelters macro life such as nudibranchs, shrimps and scorpionfish.
Clear Water and Strong Visual Appeal
Pyramide benefits from the clear visibility typical of the northern coast. The pyramid-shaped formation stands out sharply against the blue water, creating a striking visual effect. The combination of structure, depth and clarity makes this site particularly memorable.
A Scenic Dive for Intermediate and Advanced Divers
Pyramide offers a rewarding blend of geological interest and marine life. Its distinctive shape, layered depth profile and open-water exposure make it a favourite for divers seeking a deeper, more dynamic reef dive on the northern coast.
