Pte Wahoo

An Exposed Outer‑Reef Point

Pte Wahoo lies on a reef point where currents funnel along the outer wall. The terrain consists of sloping coral blocks, sandy channels and scattered bommies that attract schooling fish.

A Mid‑Depth 22‑Meter Profile

With depths around 20–22 m, the site remains within recreational limits while offering the feel of a deeper, more open‑ocean environment. Good buoyancy and comfort in mild current are recommended.

Pelagic Activity

The site is named after the wahoo, a fast pelagic species occasionally seen cruising along the reef edge. Trevallies, tunas, barracudas and rainbow runners are also common visitors.

Healthy Coral and Clear Water

The south‑east coast often provides excellent visibility, highlighting the coral formations and the movement of fish along the reef. Hard corals dominate the landscape, with sponges and soft corals adding colour.
